SILVER WAISTCOAT TOURNAMENT FORMAT
To be read in conjuction with these Tournament
conditions
For amateur players under 21 years on the 31st December in the season the tournament is played, that
reside in the West of England or are Affiliated Members that reside outside the West of England catchments area where no
Foundation operates.
Requirements
Any club in the West of England may apply to run a silver Waistcoat tournament providing they have the
required facilities.
Entry fee to each silver Waistcoat tournament is £15 per player with all monies after tables fees and
expenses being distributed between the winner, runner up, losing semi & quarter finalist (depending on
number of entrants). Any surplus monies can be donated towards the Grand Finals day. A prize for the best
break of the day is optional
Club responsibilities are to:-
- appoint a responsible adult as the tournament administrator
- abide buy the WEBSF terms and conditions
- uphold the good reputation of the WEBSF
- post all competition paperwork to the WEBSF ASAP
- assist the silver Waistcoat Tournament Director to uphold a strict code of discipline and behaviour amongst
the players and accompanying personnel
- assist the silver Waistcoat championship director to uphold the WEBSF dress code - dark
trousers, dark shoes, waistcoat, collared shirt and bow tie
- ensure the safety and well being of the players in line with the WEBSF Child Protection Policy
WEBSF responsibilities are to:-
- design of a tournament poster for the club
- provide paperwork templates for the tournament(s)
- calculate and keep records of ranking points
- update the WEBSF website and press with tournament dates and results etc.
- provide help and support at the championship
- appoint a responsible adult as the championship administrator
- enforce a strict code of discipline and behaviour amongst the players and accompanying personnel
- enforce the WEBSF dress code - dark trousers, dark shoes, waistcoat, collared shirt and bowtie
- ensure the safety and well being of the players in line with the WEBSF Child Protection Policy
